Aidan Harvey, BACP Humanistic Counsellor

About me

Hi, I’m Aidan. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the University of Brighton.

I have wide experience gained in my private practice,  also through my work as a therapist for Macmillan Cancer Support and Martlets hospice in Brighton.

I see adult clients of all genders, ages, sexualities, and ethnicities. Some of the areas I work with include anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, family and relationship problems, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.

Areas I specialise in include  cancer and chronic illness, end-of-life, bereavement, neurodiversity and men’s issues. I also work with the LGBTQIA+ community. I worked for many years in high-pressured office environments.  I'm interested in how the workplace impacts our well-being. Read more about the areas I specialise in.
