Ways I work
I offer a few different ways of working together — you can choose whatever feels most comfortable to you.

I see clients face-to-face in quiet comfortable therapy rooms in Brighton and Hove. Working in a space together away from everyday life can help you talk freely at your own pace. Let me know if you have access needs. I’m currently looking for other rooms close to Brighton in Sussex.

If being at home feels easier, or if you need more flexibility, we can meet online via Google Meet or Teams. We could also speak on the phone. This allows you to access support from a space that feels safe and familiar to you, without the need to travel.

For some people, sitting in a therapy room can feel a little overwhelming, especially if you're dealing with heavy emotions or difficult thoughts. If that resonates with you, Walk and Talk Therapy might be a good option. The gentle rhythm of walking side by side in fresh air can make it easier to open up, especially if talking face-to-face feels a bit too intense. If eye contact feels uncomfortable, walking next to each other gives you space to talk without the pressure of direct gaze. Silence that sometimes occurs (which can be really valuable!), is for some people easier to bear when walking alongside one another. I meet with clients outdoors in nature, often using Brighton and Hove seafront and streets, Preston Park, Queens Park and Stanmer Park.
